Halloween is soon approaching and we are more excited than we probably should be! There are so many fun activities that you can do with your little ones during this spooky holiday! Here are a few cute ideas!
-Decorate a pumpkin
This is a classic! Find a couple of pumpkins and get to it! Obviously, craving out the faces can be quite dangerous so you can do that part but children will have a fun time looking at ideas online and choosing the final face they would like to draw on the pumpkin for you to carve out. Plus, there’s the bonus of being able to cook some tasty recipes with the insides of the pumpkin!
-Costume time!
Buying a costume is easy and can be a fun activity to do but making it is way more fun. Browse ideas online and see what part of the costume can be handmade. All kids love arts and crafts! This also takes up quite a bit of time, meaning you will have some time to relax!
-Bake spooky treats!
Baking is always a good idea. There are so many recipes you can find online from zombie brain cupcakes to spider-shaped cookies. The scarier the better! There are so many recipes to choose from online and many of them are quick and not as difficult as they might seem.
-Sleepover!
Let your child have a sleepover! This is the perfect time for your kids to show their friends the pumpkin you decorated together and share those yummy treats. Have a movie night with a scary movie (age appropriate) and have a storytime where everyone tells a made-up scary story.
