How many times have you sat at the dinner table begging your kids to eat their vegetables or finish their greens?
Probably countless times, right? You sit there negotiating deals with your kids and seeing what you can offer them to finish their broccoli. We have all been there! So, this is why we thought it would be useful to give you some tips on how to encourage healthy eating in your children.
Let’s start with a basic one, it’s important to have proper sit-down family meals. Not only does this encourage healthy eating but it also allows you to talk to your children and spend some quality time with them. Include a variety of healthy options on the plate and the more colourful the better! Cutting fruit and veggies into fun shapes will also get your children to eat those greens. Our last tip that is very important to do, is to get them involved in the process! They will be more inclined to eat what they have made themselves and they will also be entertained in the process.
