About this Centre
Pepprina Childcare Centre first opened in 2008. The Centre is located in the heart of Paola (Rahal Gdid), in Triq is-Sultan corner with Triq Brittania close to the Lourdes Church. The Centre is easily accessible to and from all main commuter routes being also very close to MCAST vocational education and training institution.
The Centre has 3 spacious rooms for children aged 12 weeks to 3 years, divided as follows:
- Baby room: Ladybirds
- Toddlers 1: Butterflies
- Toddlers 2: Little Owls
All the rooms are airy, decorated brightly, functional and fully equipped with age-appropriate equipment. They are organised to offer each child the opportunity to investigate and explore their environment, and offer play opportunities that promote the children’s development, confidence and self-esteem.
There is also an outdoor play area which offers the children the opportunities to learn about the environment around them.
Our staff team, managed by Ms Rita, are all friendly, experienced childcarers with recognised qualifications in Childcare, First Aid including Paediatric First Aid, Food Handling etc. This enables them to provide a best care and service for the children and their families. Above all, each of them is passionate in their job.

We are writing this as an appreciation for your hard work and patience to our son Adam. My wife was afraid to give Adam to nursery as he was just a six-month-old baby. She couldn’t trust anybody to take care of him. Soon after we realize that he is in the good hands of Pepprina Childcare. Adam started his first steps with Miss Sandra and she has been really caring to him throughout the period. Then he moved to a toddler group where he was taken care of by Miss Sonya where he developed his first speaking skills. Finally, he went with his beloved Ms. Rita which he always mentions her name at home. He loves her a lot. Each time we buy him something new he says that Ms. Rita will be happy seeing his new toy. Miss Josephine has been a caring manager with excellent communication, problem-solving skills, and information, updates were given to us in an efficient and effective manner. He also loves Ms. Helena and mentions her name at home as he calls her “Helen” but we keep telling him that she is Miss Helena. Claudianne has been a very good carer. She is caring and outgoing.
In the pre-kinder group, he learned a lot of things where he developed independence and self-confidence. In fact, he started speaking more clearly. He makes a full sentence and he is able to explain what he wants. The careers did a very good job. Well done to all.
